Finding the silver lining in the chaos of COVID-19 as a women, mother and entrepreneur

from Can't Call Your Mom with Nicole Weston · host Nicole Weston | Motherless mothers navigating life after motherloss

Finding the silver lining in the chaos of COVID-19 as a women, mother and entrepreneur I invited some friends and soul sisters to join me and share their real life experiences of COVID-19 and the impact on themselves as women, mothers and entrepreneurs.. We shared our own personal experiences with this transition and found peace and connection within our vulnerability.  We discussed how we all experienced denial at the beginning of this outbreak and honestly thought it was nothing more than a ‘common cold’.  We found ourselves discussing the death and rebirth of our egos, of old systems and the opportunity to evolve as conscious being. As well as, the idea that on this journey we as a collective are experiencing grief of what was and embracing the new coming in. Trusting that we are all doing the best we can with the resources we have. We shared our real fears and the power of community.  I believe the most powerful words of love came from the reflection of self and each of us shared what we would tell ourselves 4 days prior to where we are now. It went like this: 1. Choosing to mother myself and lean into nurturing my inner child 2. Slow down. Release attachment to the outcome and if you need an example watch your children because it is an effortless skill they have 3. Be kind to yourself, be easy on you 4. Pack your patience Sending each of you love and light If you find yourself needing to talk or connect I (Nicole Weston) am offering 30 minute complimentary coaching sessions, zero strings attached.
