Finding the Way Back Home

from Soul Food · host Bishop Bira Joshua

Today on our episode, we're talking about a common confusion surrounding the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit isn't something we can see or a feeling that overwhelms us. It isn't a replacement for emotion, but rather, it is something that comes from the source of our Creator and encourages us to handle life in the way God would. It allows us to connect to Him and have a direct link to His purpose and plan for our lives. The Holy Spirit is a symbol of the peace and joy that come from aligning ourselves with God. It’s like having a part of Heaven inside of you - a peace that surpasses all understanding - as we keep our minds and hearts focused on Him. The Holy Spirit should serve as a reminder of who we are meant to be and represent Him, not just our feelings.God is not searching for perfect people; He’s searching for sincere hearts that are ready to embrace the love of Him. We all fall short, but God doesn't look down on us or write us off. If we can humble ourselves and come to Him as we are, He will embrace us. The Holy Spirit is His way of doing that, offering a gentle and comforting presence as we take steps toward Him.So don't let confusion or misunderstanding hold you back. Open yourself up to God, let the Holy Spirit guide you, and experience the embrace of Heaven.
