Finding time to podcast local (Behind the Scenes: Part 3)

We're making a local podcast for Richardson, Texas. Go behind the scenes to hear the making of this new local podcast. On this episode my wife and I talk about finding time to podcast. Time limits can affect how often you publish episodes, the kinds of stories you can tell, and whether you'll be able to continue your podcast when your priorities and responsibilities change. By the way, on the previous episode, I used BossJock on my iPhone to record my conversation with my wife, Tiffany Norris. This time I tried the Auphonic app to record. It's free. Finding time to podcast local is not just about taking the 168 hours in a week and subtracting the hours you spend working, eating, and sleeping. You also have to factor in the kind of work and the quality of sleep. You have to consider time you need to spend with family and friends. And you have to consider the time spent climbing that learning curve as you practice the craft of podcasting, create stories, and promote them to your community (and beyond). Time is limited. But sometimes limits are the key to creativity. What limits are you facing in starting or continuing your local podcast?
