Finding Your Community in Medical School

Osteopathic organizations, such as your school's SOMA chapter, your state's osteopathic organization like POMA, and the AOA, are great groups to get involved with. They help to grow your professional network, provide scholarship and leadership opportunities, exposure to physicians in different practice environments, and prepare you for the next step of residency training.
