Finding Your Voice - with Katie Kadan

Today we sit down with Katie Kadan, who you’ll remember from Season 17 of NBC's The Voice, where she finished in 3rd place.  After hearing her sing, Kelly Clarkson said, “That's what we need in the music industry, just a revamp of actual talent.” Katie opens up in this raw conversation about life on one of the most acclaimed music talent shows and what life has been like since. We talk about what life was like for her growing up, being “different” from the other kids and how that held her back from following her dreams of music for so long. With the help of some great friends she was able to take the step onto the biggest stage of her life and come out on top. Katie's insight into body image, self love, society standards and even bullying will have you laughing and crying all at the same time.
