from Surviving Twenties Hosted by Bria Aleisha

It's hard trying to find yourself in the middle of losing yourself. For Chase, he found himself fighting a silent war of anxiety and depression while trying to maintain his grip on life. After experiencing a violent anxiety attack Chase found himself on the bathroom floor cutting his wrist hoping to go deep enough to take him out of his misery. Although, Chase did not complete his suicide attempt, in that moment he came to the realization that he had much to live for. Chase is a Charlotte, NC native a member of Alpha Phi Alphi Inc. Delta Beta chapter, he is pursing a degree in Criminal Justice at Bethune-Cookman University. Chase would like to dedicate this podcast to those out there who struggle in silence, to those who feel as though they may not be strong enough to continue the fight and most importantly those who feel alone in this fight. You will smile again, your heart will come to heal, and you will find peace in abundance when it is all said and done.

Email: [email protected] Surviving The System The Fringe FM Surviving The System is a podcast created to shed light on the hypocrisy and injustice of “the system” in our nation today. I founded this podcast after first hand experience of how the system works - the shady tactics by law enforcement, the blatant disregard for the law by the legal system, the ever increasing attempts to crush the human spirit by the prison industrial complex and so called “re-entry” efforts. All of it appearing to be designed to keep people beat down, with no opportunity to learn and grow from their past mistakes. Since my experience with the system, I’ve learned that things are almost never cut and dry, right or wrong. So called “criminals” are some of the most compassionate, talented and intelligent individuals this world has to offer. On the flip side, there are some people who appear to lead the perfect life are all too often miserable human beings who are simply better at hiding their crimes from the rest of the world. My goal by starting Surviving The System House Guest with Kenzie Elizabeth Dear Media, Kenzie Elizabeth House Guest with Kenzie Elizabeth (formerly known as the ILYSM podcast) is the go to podcast for your twenties. Listen to Kenzie and guests dive into life, relationships, navigating different stages of life, friendship, career and more. You’ll feel like you’re on the couch in your friends living room & leave feeling empowered & grounded.
