Findings from ACE’s National Survey on Osteoarthritis in Canada

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative joint disease that is the most common type of arthritis and a leading cause of chronic pain and loss of mobility in Canada. In the past, OA was often dismissed as an “old person’s” disease and caused by the inevitable “wear and tear” of the joints.
