Fine Cut: Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret with Ona Gritz

Alyson and Ona Gritz (author of, most recently, a memoir entitled Everywhere I Look and a YA Novel in Verse, Take a Sad Song) discuss a moment in the film adaptation of Judy Blume’s beloved book, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. The moment they discuss is when Rachel McAdams’s character, Barbara, notices a bird out the window and is struck by creative inspiration only to be interrupted by the doorbell.
