Alyson and Ellen Birkett Morris (Author of Lost Girls, Abide and Surrender) discuss a scene from the White Rock episode of Pamela Adlon’s show, Better Things (Season 2, Episode 9, see a trailer here). Pamela plays Sam, a single mother of three girls. In this episode she takes them to Canada for a magical visit with her aunt and uncle. During the visit secrets are revealed and the youngest daughter, Duke, sees a ghost the locals call, "The Sad Lady.” In the scene we discuss, Duke acknowledges and says good-bye to the ghost.
