Additionally, indie record stores will carry an exclusive Yellow Marble variant. Fans can also find a collectible version of the CD with unique packaging at Walmart, along with a Walmart-exclusive Purple Smoke LP. All formats are available for pre-order now.Reflecting on this momentous retrospective release, Anderson shares his excitement, stating that after six albums and over 20 years together, Finger Eleven is thrilled to finally release a greatest hits album. He emphasizes the band's dedication to selecting the right songs, determining the running order, and curating a vinyl version that complements the beautiful new art created by James Black.Finger Eleven, one of Canada's best-selling bands and Juno Award-winning rockers, has forged a lasting legacy with their genre-defying sound. From cathartic metal and alt-rock balladry to danceable funk and power pop, their music consistently surprises and engages fans. The band's story began in 1990 when Scott Anderson, Rick Jackett, James Black, Sean Anderson, and drummer Rob Gommerman (later replaced by Rich Beddoe) started playing together in high school. They released their debut album, "Letters from Chutney," under the name "Rainbow Butt Monkeys" in 1995, before adopting the name Finger Eleven for their subsequent LP, "Tip." The album caught the attention of Wind-up Records, who signed the band in 1997 and re-released "Tip" a year later.Through relentless touring with bands like Creed and Fuel, as well as participating in the Vans Warped Tour, Finger Eleven broke into the US market with singles like "Above," which became a Top 40 hit on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. They continued their momentum with "The Greyest of Blue Skies" (2000), featuring singles like "First Time" and "Drag You Down," which achieved Gold certification in Canada and reached No. 17 on the Canadian chart. However, it was their self-titled album, "Finger Eleven" (2003), that propelled them to international stardom. This episode is sponsored by www.betterhelp.com/TheBarn and brought to you as always by The Barn Media Group.   YOUTUBE https://www.youtube.com/@TheBarnPodcastNetworkSPOTIFY https://open.spotify.com/show/09neXeCS8I0U8OZJroUGd4?si=2f9b8dfa5d2c4504APPLE https://podcasts.apple.com/podcast/id1625411141I HEART RADIO https://www.iheart.com/podcast/97160034/AMAZON https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/7aff7d00-c41b-4154-94cf-221a808e3595/the-barn
