Finished: A Journey to the Resurrection — Week 5

This Easter message centers on resurrection power—the same Spirit that raised Jesus, the dunamis Paul longed to know in Philippians 3 and prayed believers would grasp in Ephesians 1. It presses three things that power does. It cancels the record against us; Colossians 2 says the charges were nailed to the cross, and the Etch A Sketch image pictures a slate wiped clean. It gives a new identity—not race, career, addiction, or others' labels, but child of God through Christ alone, per John 1:12. And it supplies daily strength to face the unpredictable storms of life, because the risen Jesus lives in the believer by his Spirit. The closing call walks through hearing, believing, repenting, confessing, and baptism.
