Fire Disrupts Construction Site Near YMCA | Spokane News

A fire erupted early Sunday morning on North Newport Highway and Nevada Street, shutting down the street and forcing the nearby North YMCA to close for the day—though it’s reopening Monday. The blaze hit a building under construction, likely an apartment complex, but thankfully no injuries were reported as crews from Spokane County Fire District Nine and backup units quickly contained the flames. Damage was limited to the site, and normalcy is returning fast. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
