Fire Fell, Wind Blew .. and He Never Left

from The Resting Place Podcast Hosted by Pastor Devin Mitchem

Pentecost Sunday marks the birth of the church when the Holy Spirit descended upon 120 believers in Jerusalem. This supernatural event reversed the confusion of Babel, as people from every nation heard the disciples speaking in their own languages. Peter's powerful sermon led to 3,000 people joining the church that day. Today, believers are called to be the church, not just attend it. The same Holy Spirit who moved at Pentecost still dwells within every believer, empowering them to carry Christ to the world through active church involvement and community. Support the show
