He began his career earning approximately $13 an hour while responding to fires, shootings, overdoses, fatal crashes and other emergencies across Kansas City.In this deeply personal conversation, Ralph describes discovering a body inside a burning home after believing the building had already been searched. He also recalls helping rescue a young boy from an apartment fire moments before the building began collapsing.
