We are regularly hearing these explosions sparked by lithium ion batteries. A massive explosion in Montreal last week fueled by 15,000 kilograms of lithium-ion batteries” erupted inside a shipping container. Now QC fire fighters are warning that even charging your phone by your head- IF your device is operated by a lithium battery, has led to fires and explosions.
