We start with Jesus’ words in John 14: “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” and we get brutally practical about identity. If your job changes, money shifts, or your “stuff” gets stripped away, your value doesn’t drop. Your worth is anchored in being a son or daughter of God, not a title you can lose.Then we lean into the promise Jesus makes about the Holy Spirit. He is not a vibe, not a symbol, not God’s sidekick, he is fully God, the Helper and Spirit of truth who dwells with us and in us. We talk about why conviction is different from condemnation, why resisting the Spirit is spiritually dangerous, and why so many of us chase guidance from TikTok, reels, or success metrics instead of letting the Spirit lead our decisions. This is Spirit-led Christianity for Monday morning, not just Sunday.From there we walk straight into Acts 2 and the Pentecost story: the sound of a rushing wind, tongues of fire on every believer, and the church empowered to witness. We explain what we mean by the baptism of the Holy Spirit, why speaking in tongues shows up in the text, and how God’s heart is to speak to people in their heart language.
