Fire threatens hay bales near Sutherland Springs

Multiple agencies are working the scene of a fire in a hay field near Sutherland Springs. The fire, on C.R. 333 off F.M. 539, is threatening more than 30 hay bales. No structures appeared to be threatened. No further information is available at this time. Although there are no burn bans or fireworks bans, area residents are reminded to be responsible with fireworks as they celebrate this Fourth of July weekend.  [email protected] Article Link
