Firearm Found at School Ahead of New Year | St. Louis News

A firearm was discovered in an employee’s bag at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School during a security sweep—just as the new school year began. Though no one was harmed, the find reignites painful memories of the 2020 shooting that killed two and wounded seven. The district reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy on guns on campus, even for licensed carriers. Superintendent Dr. Myra Berry convened leaders to review safety protocols, while neighbors debate personal safety versus institutional rules. Police continue their investigation with no public updates on the employee’s status or next steps. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
