Fireworks in Parks Threaten Safety | Belfast News

Fireworks are exploding in Lurgan Park — right in the middle of children’s play areas — sparking outrage and danger across the community. Officials are sounding the alarm as reckless acts spill into nearby roads, with fireworks thrown at moving cars in Craigavon. Councillor Peter Haire has confronted offenders on the spot, demanding accountability and calling for CCTV to catch those responsible. With laws clearly banning public fireworks without a license, this isn’t just vandalism — it’s creating life-threatening risks and wasting taxpayer money on repairs. Authorities are stepping up enforcement to restore safety to these vital public spaces. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
