Firm To The End

Hebrews 3:7-4:1. Having established the superior faithfulness of Jesus, the Author turns to illustrate the need to hold our faith in Jesus firm to the end. He does this by calling to mind Psalm 95. Drawing a lesson from the faithless and unbelieving exodus generation during the time of Moses, we are to pay attention, beware, and guard against "falling away from the living God." The big idea = those who share in Christ are those who persevere to the end.
