First Aid Course Experience 🔍
from Life By Ashley · host Ashley
Welcome 👋🏻 • Today I’ll be sharing the interesting lessons from my First Aid and CPR Course • #1 - It’s hard to perform CPR on someone that is muscular in the chest • #2 - Put a wet cloth down on an injured area before putting ice on it • #3 - If someone is severely dehydrated, give them 1 cup of water not 2 litres • #4 - Use a defibrillator on an unconscious person if there is still no luck • #5 - You always have permission to perform CPR on the unconscious • Conscious = ask permission. Unconscious or unable to talk = you have permission • #6 - Use a asthma puffer and spacer when treating an asthma attack • No spacer = Use a newspaper or paperback notebook and roll it up • #7 - Your wrist will hurt after CPR • #8 - What Febrile Convulsions is about • Special thanks to St. John Ambulance Australia 🚑 • If you like this podcast, give it a favourite ⭐️
