The House on the Borderland William Hope Hodgson In 1877, two gentlemen, Messrs Tonnison and Berreggnog, head into Ireland to spend a week fishing in the village of Kraighten. While there, they discover in the ruins of a very curious house a diary of the man who had once owned it. Its torn pages seem to hint at an evil beyond anything that existed on this side of the curtains of impossibility. This is a classic novel that worked to slowly bridge the gap between the British fantastic and supernatural authors of the later 19th century and modern horror fiction. Classic American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft lists this and other works by Hodgson among his greatest influences. They live and strive by a Title that not only describes their literal life situation but also their mental fortitude of Being Rebellious Over Konforming to Expectations (BROKE). And...a little bit of wisdom won't hurt either. From Bomb to Ballot: The History of Sinn Féin Daily Mail In 1981, ten young men starved themselves to death in a prison on the outskirts of Belfast. They were all members of the Irish Republican Army, and had been protesting their right to be treated as political prisoners. Their deaths shocked the world. The Hunger Strikes made martyrs of the young republican men who died and were the apex of a thirty year conflict in Ireland that – by its conclusion – had claimed the lives of 3,500 people, and gained a euphemism: The Troubles. The strikes also marked the moment that a little-known nationalist fringe group named Sinn Féin was catapulted from obscurity into the mainstream. Four decades later, Sinn Féin made history when it won the popular vote in the Ireland’s 2020 General Election and came within touching distance of taking power on both sides of the Irish border. Now, with the country on the eve of another election, Sinn Féin should be riding high in the polls. Instead, they are bogged down in chaos and disorder. Criticised f Hope Restored Missy Dale Hope restored was birthed in me in 2012.   The Lord clearly spoke to me about preaching the gospel, specifically to those who have been wounded inwardly by life circumstances.     To those who feel they are broken, damaged and inwardly dying.    In 2012 I didn't understand the cost of carrying this kind of calling but as the song Oceans says I prayed to have trust without borders.       The next 11 years has taken me on quite the adventure of being broken, feeling like I was damaged beyond repair, and feeling dead on the inside.     Divorce, loss of jobs, loss of my  home, loss of ministry, loss of a church, health issues, surgeries, blindness, moving, loss of friends and support system, , new marriage (to the love of my life), struggling, depression, and fear.      I can tell you I ran from God during a season and was not the mother I should have been.      I lost hope.    I was mad at God and questioned why more times than I can count.    But.....How can you minister to a s
