FIRST BLOOD (1982) Movie Reaction! | RAMBO | Sylvester Stallone, Richard Crenna, Brian Dennehy

Jaby & Alli react to First Blood (1982), the action classic that introduces John Rambo, a Vietnam War veteran whose quiet search for peace turns into a desperate fight for survival after he’s relentlessly pursued by a small-town sheriff and his deputies. Blending gripping action with powerful emotional themes, the film explores the lasting effects of war, prejudice, and isolation, making it far more than a typical action movie. This reaction captures Jaby & Alli experiencing the film that launched one of cinema’s most iconic franchises while discovering the deeper story behind the legendary character. Directed by Ted Kotcheff (Weekend at Bernie’s, Fun with Dick and Jane, North Dallas Forty, Uncommon Valor, Wake in Fright), the film stars Sylvester Stallone (Rocky, Creed, The Expendables, Cliffhanger, Cobra), Richard Crenna (The Sand Pebbles, Hot Shots! Part Deux, Wait Until Dark, The Flamingo Kid, Judging Amy), Brian Dennehy (Tommy Boy, Cocoon, Romeo + Juliet, Death of a Salesman, Gorky Park), Bill McKinney (Deliverance, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Every Which Way But Loose, Back to the Future Part III, Any Which Way You Can), and Jack Starrett (Blazing Saddles, Race with the Devil, Cleopatra Jones, The Grizzly and the Treasure, First Blood), with a screenplay by David Morrell, whose novel introduced the enduring character of John Rambo. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
