First Contact: ‘The Last Outpost’ Season 1 Episode 4

FIRST CONTACT: SEASON 1 EPISODE 4 – THE LAST OUTPOST Andrew, James and Alex convene once again to discuss another episode from the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.  It’s the first appearance of the Ferengi and this of course allows for discucssion of capitalism, Federation fascism, sexism and ancient chinese philosophy. There’s a classic series feel to the episode with the somewhat dodgy planet set and the alien with a floating head, but there’s enough TNG goodness in here to set off your eighties alarm.       Watch along with us.
