from Studio 809 Podcasts

A behind-the-scenes look at what's happening in the Colorado Springs arts and culture scene, with a focus on both in-person and virtual First Friday events. This is a replay of live coverage of the first hour of First Friday, co-hosted by Studio809 and Peak Radar. Featuring live interviews with some of the personalities behind the night's events, First Friday Live dives into the art, the energy, and personal stories. Each month's episode is hosted by Studio 809's Dave Gardner and Deputy Director of the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, Angela Seals, with a revolving door of special guests. Spanning the Creative Corridor from Downtown Colorado Springs to Old Colorado City to Manitou Springs, First Friday unites galleries, artists, creative businesses, and performers once a month for an event that is always different and full of surprises that are worth exploring together! Some of the events discussed happened that evening, or in the week following, and may no longer be available. For more information, check the links in these show notes.
