First Impressions 002: Sleep Well Beast
from Beyond The Pond
In First Impressions 002, we discuss The National's seventh LP, "Sleep Well Beast." One of our most anticipated albums of 2017, here The National abandon whiskey for the vape pen, and conjure up a plodding, late-nite record, while still retaining the elegant songwriting that we've always loved about them. Songs featured in this episode are: "Day I Die," "Empire Line," and "Carin At The Liquor Store."
