First Impressions of Grand Canyon National Park

Earlier this year, I launched a new series on mywebsite called, “First Impressions.” The series focuses on my firsthand encounters with our national parks. The series has had me in a reflective mood as I think back on parks I visited years ago. It also has me excited to continue visiting America’s best idea. Today’s essay focuses its attention on the first national park I ever visited, Grand Canyon National Park.
