First Principles of the Kingdom of God part 12: Humility is honoured in God’s Kingdom

1 Peter 5:5-7 “Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” The way God’s kingdom functions and the world operates are very different. In order to get ahead and promoted in this world, people have to cheat, lie, and step on and over others to achieve their dreams. They are driven by pride and compare their success to the standards of those around them. However, in God’s Kingdom, the humble are those whom God can exalt and lift up.
