First Responder BBQ Cook-off May 9

Help raise funds for scholarships for future first responders at the Joseph Mitchell Memorial First Responder BBQ Cookoff. This family-friendly event will take place Saturday, May 9, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Cactus Land Brewery, 368 C.R. 325 in Adkins. Cookoff teams can compete in either the Pork Ribs or the Chef’s Choice categories, with cash prizes for first, second, and third place. Entry fee is 0 per team.
