First things First (Salvation Prayer)

If you have been exposed to the Christian church before, you might have encountered the pastors asking people to get saved or born-again, and you may wonder why they do that. Being born-again is the first process of acknowledging the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life. You can never experience a relationship with Him if you remain outside His Lordship or Kingdom. Let’s read John 3:3-6. It says, “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” “Nicodemus said to Him, ‘How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?’”. “Jesus answered, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.’” The word again, from born-again, means “born from above” in the original Greek text. Being born-again is an intentional action one needs to take as a first step to take to having access into the kingdom of God. Being born-again saves us from eternal perdition and the wrath of God, it places us under the grace of God and gives us life eternal. According to Romans 10:9, this is how you get saved: “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” I am going to lead you into this prayer of salvation into accessing this kingdom of God. Please do repeat after me, and please put as much intention into this prayer as possible. “Lord Jesus Christ, I believe and confess with my mouth that you are the Son of God and that God has raised you from the dead. I receive you into my heart and I start a new life with and in you today.” Let’s connect on: Devotional Instagram page: https://instagram.com/dailysteps.podcast?utm_medium=copy_link Ministry page on Instagram @footsteps.online Online ministry website: www.footsteps.online Background music: Winter by LiQWYD | https://soundcloud.com/liqwyd/ Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Creative Commons CC BY 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Calm and Peaceful by LesFM | https://lesfm.net/relaxing-background-music/ Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Creative Commons CC BY 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
