So I'm finally getting into fishing. Yeah, at 80. But ya know, now it's something I get to level while waiting on people to get ready for a Raid... go figure.Anyhow, I noticed one of the problems with fishing is that you end up holding a Fishing Pole, opening yourself up to some easy ganking. So, I decided to make a macro that will equip my fishing pole while I fish,and at the press of a button, equip my main weapon./equip [noequipped: Fishing Pole,nomod:alt] Fishing Pole;/equip [mod:alt] Your_weapon_name_here/cast [equipped:Fishing Pole,nomod:alt] Fishing;Now I have a button to equip my fishing pole and cast my line, and if Ihold ALT when I click, I equip my weapon, and am ready to fight.It's also good to alt-click when I'm done fishing, just to be sure Iequip my weapon, too... don't want to get caught trying to down a mob with just a fishing pole!As always, Freckleface and I will be bringing you our full length podcast eachand every Tuesday - filled with comments, stories, questions, answers and interviews.
