O nosso convidado de hoje é Jose Antonio Paixão, um dos físicos portugueses com maior número de artigos cientificos, que já são mais de 400. É professor da Universidade de Coimbra, onde coordena o Centro de Física da Universidade de Coimbra. Concluiu o Doutoramento em 1994 pela Universidade de Coimbra, após ter realizado trabalho em França. Trabalha na área da Física da Matéria Condensada e Química Física. Recebeu o Prémio estímulo à Ciência da FCT. Tem desenvolvido intensa actividade pedagógica, incluindo a escrita de manuais escolares. É o actual presidente da Sociedade Portuguesa de Física, uma sociedade que vai comemorar 50 anos em 2024.
