Fitness Trackers: Should you use one or not?

from The Strong[HER] Way | Healthy nutrition and habits for moms, routines, strength training for women · host Alisha Carlson, Fitness and Nutrition Coach for Moms

Send us Fan MailHey friends! Today I got done with my workout. Stopped my fitness watch. And noticed it didn't register any of the minutes. In the past, that would have sent me over the edge. I would have no doubt hopped on the bike, gone for a run, or did another 20 minute workout just to get the credit. This might be the high achiever in me. Maybe it's perfectionism. And most certainly, it's a pretty common message we have received from the fitness industry. We are bombarded with messages to go hard or go home. These messages, though meant to motivate, can also create some shame or guilt if we aren't always going hard. Especially if we don't have any proof or evidence to show for it. You know I'm all about debunking that toxic mentality. And coming back to a place where movement and exercise can be fun and something we do for ourselves rather than a punishment for our weight or our bodies. If you've ever been slave to the scale, calories, steps. or any other metric to judge your worth on, this episode is for you!Ready to get started on your non diet lifestyle today?
