The health benefits of figs include building strong healthy bones, regulating blood sugar, aiding digestion and so much more! Here are 5 reasons to start adding fresh or dried figs to your diet today! Have you ever wondered about the health benefits of dried figs? Well today we're going to talk about it.  What are the health benefits of figs? Now I'm sitting here in my backyard and if you can kind of see, right, right there, that is my fig tree and I've been working hard to get that to produce and to take care of it and just everything about that. And I've even, I have another video posted that's going to talk about the spiritual symbolism of the fig tree.  It is amazing why God uses food to teach us so much important information. So let's look at what are the health benefits of figs. Let's just highlight this. The first one is, okay. You know that my teaching point is you've got to have fiber in your diet. When you have fiber, you feel amazing. Everything works right. When you don't have fiber, it's just like a clogged pipe. It doesn't, nothing works. So figs are the most incredible fiber rich food ever. Yes, I say that a lot, but it's true. Do figs have fiber? Figs have a lot of fiber in them that what it does is it kind of creates a natural laxative, but not a laxative. That's an emergency room. Acts laxative like, Hey, got to stop everything and go run. It's just a normal process. Laxative. Now it actually, because it has such a high book of fiber, it's going to help balance your blood sugars. You could eat, you know those 100 calorie cookie packs or snack packs. You know, you ever eat one of those and was like, well, that didn't feel like very much. I'm still hungry. But if you wait for one or two figs, your body would say, Woo, we're feeling good. You're satisfied, but yet you eat those 100 calorie snack packs and you're still starving because all it does is excite your, your blood sugar is like, hey, give me more, give me more. Whereas figs are like, hey, we feel good, we're satisfied. That's the way God's foods work. So number one is it's a natural accident because of the fiber and that in its turn will help balance blood sugars and sugar cravings, Figs for diabetes, for that reason alone it's worth a fig a day, right?  What I mean by that is figs have a perfect balance of potassium and calcium. Okay, you need this for your bones. In fact, figs are the perfect food for children to help build strong bones while they're growing.
