Five-minute Devotional: Brethren, Take Heart God's Moving is Yes and Amen. 

Our five-minute devotional today is longer than five minutes, but we also take care of a bit of business in this episode. I know many of you pray for the Free Range Preacher on prayer, and I do thank you. It is also one of the reasons we have confidence when the unexpected happens.  For the last few weeks, I have been able to be the helper for Cathy's health bumps and not the helpie! Today we consider three passages: "Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21 This passage is the sweeter in our most profound needs. Such as… "Turn Thy gaze away from me, that I may smile again, Before I depart and am no more." Psalm 39:13 His work exceedingly abundantly beyond all we conceive of brings glory to Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  "O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:3-4 I am suddenly reminded (or the episode would be longer) of a portion of the "Valley of Vision. " "Lord, in the daytime stars can be seen from deepest wells, and the deeper the wells the brighter thy stars shine;  Let me find thy light in my darkness, thy life in my death, thy joy in my sorrow, thy grace in my sin, thy riches in my poverty, thy glory in my valley."
