In which our intrepid travellers traverse a forbidding landscape where nature’s harshness and the unexpected menace of baboons remind them of the precariousness of their journey, even as they pause to savour the fruits of a successful hunt. They then resume their ascent and continue their aerial voyage over vast and varied terrain, drawing ever closer to the distant settlement of Kazeh under the watchful eye of their vigilant doctor.
