Five Weeks in a Balloon Chapter 27

In which three intrepid travellers, beleaguered by an unrelenting sun and parching thirst in the heart of the desert, confront desperation and delirium as their scant water supply dwindles alongside their hope. Their perilous plight is interrupted by a violent sandstorm which, once passed, reveals a verdant oasis guarded by formidable beasts, affording them reprieve and renewed life.
