In which our intrepid travellers, having secured their aëronautical apparatus upon a solitary isle amidst vast marshes, endeavour to lighten their balloon and regain their balance whilst searching with fervent hope for their absent companion upon the expansive waters of Lake Tchad. Guided by careful calculations and Kennedy’s skilled hunting, they take to the air once more, skimming over islands and villages beneath changing winds, resolute to leave no stone unturned in their quest despite the lurking perils of that distant African realm.
