Fixing the Health Care System: (Part Two) Midwives, Chiros , Hamstrung Docs and Prevention Rocks

The United States ranks 37th according to the World Health Organization among its member nations for Heath Care System efficiency (Results & Functionality).   The United States spends the most of any member nation.  Our 3.5 Trillion spent is not getting the results one with a modicum of common sense would expect.  The countries that are at the top of the Health Care System Success List utilize Midwives and other practitioners differently and at a higher rate.  The countries at the top of the list also have a better flow of information between treating physicians, hospitals and patients. The patient's care team is more on the same page.  One way to fix the system is to take a step back and look at the providers we use and if we are putting obstacles in the way of the doctors caring for us.
