In this episode I talk about part of a speech he gave in which he references people’s habit of thinking they aren’t good at something, despite not ever having put in the effort to become good. In the speech he challenges people to fail for a whole year, because the byproduct of doing so would be success at what they initially assumed they weren’t any good at. I also give specific examples from my own life where I’ve challenged myself to do things I “wasn’t good at”, only to realize after putting in hard work, that I had gained abilities I had initially dismissed in myself.
