The Commonwealth Games opening ceremony takes place in Glasgow with King Charles and Queen Camilla in attendance. Australian pole vaulter Nina Kennedy has been named as flag bearer, while para-swimmer Tim Hodge will carry a bespoke baton, marking the first time in Games history that all 74 nations will have specially designed batons.
