Three children were killed in a two-alarm Plum Orchard fire early Wednesday, October 18, 2023 morning, shortly after their father threatened to burn the house down. Seventeen NOFD units and 46 firefighters had the fire under control by 12:40 a.m. A New Orleans man accused of setting fire to his ex-wife's home with their three young children inside, killing them, has been taken into custody.
