After much slaving over a hot editing system, the second edition of Flaps is ready. It’s not quite as jam-packed as the first one, but for a very good reason: 0.00 Introduction 1.15 We speak at length with Peter Burkill. Peter was the captain of the BA 777 that crashed at Heathrow in January 2008. You might have heard about it. Anyway, he’s got a book out detailing the accident and his life since. This is a fascinating interview – and thankfully not one we need to do very often. 23.14 We catch up with our Pet PPL, student pilot Karl.
