Catherine is here today with Dr. Martha Beck. Dr. Martha Beck, is a Harvard-trained sociologist, world-renowned coach and New York Times bestselling author. She has published nine non-fiction books, one novel, and more than 200 magazine articles. Martha has been a columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine since its inception in 2001. Today she is noted as one of the best-known life coaches in America. Martha spends part of each year in South Africa leading seminars, where she donates the proceeds to ecosystem restoration and education for rural Africans. As president of her company Martha Beck, Inc. she continues to speak around the world, as well as offers virtual tele-classes and also trains life coaches worldwide through her Wayfinder Life Coach Training program. When not covering herself in bird seed and sitting outside in nature, she is writing her new book called Maelstrom, which is the follow up to Diana, Herself, and the second instalment of The Bewilderment Chronicles series.
