Students from East L.A., he explained, needed the desire — the ganas — to work hard and achieve their goals. As a teacher, I watched this film for inspiration when each new school year began.”Artist and dear friend Maria Wickwire creates ceramic sculptures that reveal feminine archetypes, hoping to encourage healing and forgiveness in our sometimes splintering world.
