Over the years, some companies end up falling off the curve due to how they are structured, which is why the companies start to restructure to become more flattened out companies. This flattening is between not only management and their employees but also suppliers and the ones they're supplying to. Since the amount of information that needs to be known is being increased, so is the number of people who need to know the info. The CDN (content distribution network) is increasing and stretching to reach more people, which creates this need for companies to be flattened.
