James is a cycling coach and in this podcast we be discuss the inspiring story of his three young female Afghan cyclists who fled their home country to the UK and are now aiming to compete in the time trial event in Paris for the Olympics. We'll be talking about the challenges these girls faced in Afghanistan, including the humanitarian crisis and the ban on women's sports by the Taliban. We'll also explore the logistical difficulties they faced in leaving their country and the disruption to their training.
