Today's topics include: Fleet sales increased 5% in 1H 2021, but 100% of the growth was from truck and SUV acquisitions by the commercial fleet segment. All other fleet segments declined. Fleet manager uncertainty as to whether the anticipated large volume of early 2022 orders will quickly eat up fleet allocation for popular models creating a déjà vu situation of earlier than normal order cut-off similar to what occurred in 2021. Pricing for 2022 models is uncertain. Everyone anticipates price increases but doesn’t know how much or how much to budget.
