Flights in WWII biplane to honor Texas veterans

Touchstone Communities and the Texas State Veterans Board are partnering with nonpro.t Dream Flights to honor Texas senior veterans on Memorial Day with flights in a 1943 Boeing Stearman open-cockpit biplane — the same aircraft used to train U.S. military aviators during World War II. One of two Touchstone Communities events will take place Monday, May 25, in the San Antonio area as part of the 2026 Dream Flights inaugural tour, which is expected to honor nearly 800 senior veterans nationwide.
