FLIPPED (2010) is So Flipping Cute! | Movie Reaction | First Time Watch | Rob Reiner

Today, Michael and Brandon are taking a trip back to the 1950s (via 2010!) to watch the coming-of-age cult classic, Flipped, directed by Rob Reiner. Whether you’re here for the "hepped up" Bryce Loski or the incredible Julie Baker, this movie is a masterclass in perspective-shifting storytelling. The nostalgic atmosphere of Flipped was crafted by legendary director Rob Reiner (The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Stand by Me), who brought his signature touch for Americana and youthful discovery to the screen. The film stars Madeline Carroll as the spirited Juli Baker (I Can Only Imagine, Resident Evil: Extinction, Swing Vote), starring opposite Callan McAuliffe as the conflicted Bryce Loski (The Great Gatsby, I Am Number Four, The Walking Dead). The supporting adult cast features incredible performances from Anthony Edwards as Steven Loski (ER, Top Gun, Zodiac), Rebecca De Mornay as Patsy Loski (The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Risky Business, Wedding Crashers), and Aidan Quinn as Richard Baker (Legends of the Fall, Practical Magic, Elementary). Rounding out the family dynamics are Penelope Ann Miller as Trina Baker (The Artist, Carlito's Way, Adventures in Babysitting) and the late John Mahoney as the wise Grandpa Chet (Frasier, Say Anything, The Iron Giant). ___________________ We've got merch!
